Copperweld® Underground Residential Distribution Cable is a standard concentric-lay stranded aluminum cable for buried power distribution.

Copperweld® URD is manufactured to UL standards and complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Description — Two insulated concentric-lay-stranded phase conductors and an insulated concentric-lay-stranded neutral conductor.

Application Standards — ASTM B230, ASTM B231 and ICEA S-105-692-2011

Construction according to — ASTM B230 (standard specification for Aluminum 1350-H19 wire for electrical purposes), ASTM B231 (standard specification for concentric-lay-stranded Aluminum 1350 conductors) and ICEA S-105-692-2011 (standard for 600 Volt single-layer thermoset insulated utility underground distribution cables)
