Cory’s battle rhythm responsibilities involve keeping various parts of the company in step, creating a cross-functional bridge between various teams, including operations, production, and new product development.  His IT responsibilities include management of IT personnel, policies, hardware, systems, and ERP.

Cory is especially adept in prioritizing and moving multiple projects toward a timely completion. During periods of transition and chaos, Cory has the ability to sort out and communicate the relevant details and help define a path for reaching specific objectives.  He is an excellent communicator with the ability to connect people with a more meaningful understanding of the company.

Background

Prior to his work with Copperweld, Cory spent seven years implementing software solutions on capital asset projects, ERP integrations, and CRM management, mostly for big construction companies and the oil and natural gas industry. During this time, he managed global teams on assets around the world and developed an extensive knowledge of project execution and lifecycles.  While implementing software solutions in this environment, he learned world-class project management practices and fostered the ability to bridge the gap between field personnel and management stakeholders.

Personal

Cory is married and the father of two children.  They are team sports and outdoor enthusiasts.  His wife is a professional trainer of horses and riders.  After moving back from Australia, where he lived for 1 ½ years, Cory became a rugby player.  When he is not at a rugby game, he is often at a horse show supporting his wife and daughters.
