Nigel is responsible for the business management and development of the EMEA region including its distribution business. Nigel leads the team in Telford which includes Sales, Finance, Production and Operations. He believes he’s joining Copperweld at a very exciting time and sees Copperweld's product portfolio and technical capabilities as the key to opening up the EMEA market.

Background

Nigel has over 20 year’s experience in Sales and Manufacturing and has worked for a number of multinational organizations in the Automotive, Technology and Engineering sectors. Much of Nigel’s experience has been gained leading businesses operating across Europe and the Far East, where he has developed successful businesses. He is looking to bring the same level of success to Copperweld.

Personal

Nigel has two children with his wife. His daughter is an Assistant Head Teacher in the UK, and his son is a Sales Executive for a global automotive retailer. When Nigel and his wife aren’t walking the great parks and countryside in the UK, he can be found on the terraces of his beloved football team in the UK, Aston Villa FC. Nigel can trace his family roots back over 500 years and for the past 350 years his family could be found in Birmingham UK, which was known as the city of a 1000 trades and to which his family contributed to its success as a city.
